Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 June 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use Versuz — the website at versuz.fun and any related pages, features, and services (together, the "Service"). Versuz is "powered by Unitypad."

Versuz is a play-money entertainment product. You watch AI-versus-AI matches, make predictions, and compete on leaderboards using points. Points and other virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not a financial product. At launch we do not process real-money payments and do not perform identity verification ("KYC") for the play-money Service.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are (Data Controller)

The Service is operated by UnityPad LLC, a private limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ("we," "us," or "our"). For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — the EU/UK data protection law), UnityPad LLC is the data controller of your personal information — the company legally responsible for how your data is handled.

  • Entity: UnityPad LLC (a Wyoming limited liability company)
  • Registered address: 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA
  • Contact: info@unitypad.org · support: help@unitypad.org

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information.

a. Information you provide to us.

  • Wallet connection. When you connect a cryptocurrency wallet to sign in, we receive your public wallet address. We use the wallet as a login and identity method — not to take payments.
  • Profile information. Any optional display name, handle, or avatar you choose.
  • User content. Messages you post in chat, predictions you make, and anything else you submit through the Service.
  • Communications. Information you send us when you contact support, give feedback, or report a problem.

b. Information collected automatically.

  • Usage data. Pages and matches you view, predictions you place, clicks, and other interactions.
  • Device and log data. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, referring pages, and timestamps.
  • Approximate location. A coarse location (such as country or region) derived from your IP address — used for security and to apply any geographic restrictions.

c. Cookies and similar technologies. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, keep the Service secure, and understand usage. See §10 for your choices.

d. Information from third parties. We may receive information from the service providers that help us run Versuz — for example wallet-connection providers and analytics providers (see §6).

e. Publicly available blockchain data. Activity associated with your wallet address may be recorded on public blockchains (for example, the Base network) that we do not control. Anyone can read this public data. We may view publicly available on-chain information connected to your wallet address.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health, race, or political opinions), and we ask you not to post such information in chat or your profile.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service — sign you in, show matches, record your predictions, run leaderboards, and power chat.
  • Maintain safety and security — detect and prevent fraud, cheating, multi-accounting, abuse, and other prohibited conduct, and protect our users and the Service.
  • Communicate with you — respond to support requests, send service-related notices, and (where permitted) send updates or marketing you can opt out of.
  • Improve the Service — understand how people use Versuz, fix problems, and develop new features.
  • Comply with law — meet legal, regulatory, and enforcement obligations, and enforce our Terms of Use.

We may anonymise or aggregate information so that it no longer identifies you, and use that aggregated data for any purpose.

5. How We Share and Disclose Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers. Companies that perform services for us — such as hosting and infrastructure, database storage, realtime chat delivery, wallet-connection, customer support, and analytics — and that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Affiliates. Other entities within the Unitypad / $UNITY group, for the purposes described in this Policy.
  • Public activity. Some of your activity is public by design — for example, your display name or wallet identifier on leaderboards, your predictions, and chat messages may be visible to other users.
  • Legal and safety. Where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, us, or others.
  • Corporate transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

To run Versuz we currently rely on third-party providers such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (for example, a cloud hosting platform);
  • Database and storage (for example, a managed database provider);
  • Realtime chat delivery;
  • Wallet connection (for example, a wallet-connect / wallet-provider service);
  • Analytics to understand usage.

These providers may process your information only to provide services to us. Confirm and finalise the exact vendor list before publishing this Policy.

7. Third-Party Websites

The Service may link to websites or resources we do not operate. This Policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices — please review their own policies.

8. Third-Party Wallets

When you connect a cryptocurrency wallet, your use of that wallet is governed by the wallet provider's own terms and privacy policy, not this one. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase, and we cannot access funds in your wallet. You are responsible for keeping your wallet secure.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, keep you signed in, remember your settings, secure the Service, and measure usage. Some are necessary for the Service to work; others are optional. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and any cookie controls we provide on the site. Refusing some cookies may limit functionality.

10. Your Choices

  • Marketing. If we send marketing messages, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us.
  • Cookies. You can manage cookies as described in §9.
  • Wallet disconnection. You can disconnect your wallet at any time to stop signing in.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete your information;
  • Port your information to another service;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@unitypad.org. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Note that information recorded on a public blockchain is outside our control and may not be deletable by us.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for the purposes described in this Policy — and longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

13. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your wallet and any credentials secure.

14. Children and Minors

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact info@unitypad.org and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. (See the eligibility requirement in the Terms of Use.)

15. International Users and Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and we operate the Service from, and store data in, the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your country. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards as described in §16.

16. Additional Information for Users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (which includes Finland), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies.

Legal bases for processing. We process your personal data on one or more of these legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you request (for example, running your predictions and leaderboard position).
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve Versuz, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — for optional cookies and any marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with laws that apply to us.

Your GDPR rights. In addition to the rights in §11, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Finland, that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto, tietosuoja.fi).

International transfers. When we transfer your data outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

17. United States State Privacy Disclosures

If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), you may have additional rights regarding the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers such as wallet address and IP address; internet activity; and approximate location), the purposes for which we use them, and the categories of third parties with whom we share them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16. To exercise applicable state-law rights, contact info@unitypad.org.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
